Well I'm not gonna pay for this lol.. Hopefully there are still some nice people on jsp

Once you reach a certain skill level there are more players willing to help you out. When you're going through the basics, coaching won't do anything for you. The fundamentals are fundamental, and until about Diamond league people can give you advice without even looking at your games-constant worker production, spend your money better, expand more, scout more.

people pay because they get solid directions on how to play the game...

im sure nebada will love teaching you the basics since he will get to gloat about his mediocrity the whole time  .

sc is far more complex than any other game really...and good directions can make all the difference. i wouldn't dn8 2 hours of my time for free to some random person because im feeling nice...it's quite a time investment to teach someone properly.

so basically:

pay - get someone's dedicated attention and power-learn. (replay analysis, build orders, etc)

be a jew - struggle and get owned for the first week, and slowly get answers like 'make more workers', 'make more army', lol.

It is a good place to start. From there, start playing games against the A.I. to learn what all the units of all 3 races do. Then pick the one you like the most, look up a single build order online and practice that in all matches until you get to gold league or so.

Depends on who's teaching. But until you have some base level of experience it's a waste of FG. People will tell you exactly what I've already told you. More constant worker production, spend your money, scout more, expand.
Wait until Plat/Diamond league to get coaching because before that it won't actually do you any good.

Once you do start looking for coaching, you'll have some good options. We have a few world-class players here.

Depends on the coach. I don't keep up on prices, but I think it's an hourly price...maybe like 1k/hr?
