Should Decrease The Saturation Limit On Bases

ofc not

couse reaching max suturation is less profit!

Minerals
See also: Mining Minerals
One SCV on one mineral patch harvests 39-45 minerals per game minute, depending on distance.
Two SCVs on one mineral patch harvest 78-90 minerals per game minute, depending on distance.
Three SCVs on one mineral patch harvest ~102 minerals per game minute. This is fully saturated and does not depend on distance.

2 SCV per miniral patch = 42minirals per min per worker
(100/8+50)/(42/60)+17sec build time = 106 seconds before a worker have urned itself

102-42-42 = 18 minirals per min for 3e workers on a miniral patch
100/8+50)/(18/60)+17sec = 225 seconds before a 3e worker on a miniral patch have urned itself

8miniral patches*2drones needed per patch - 6start drones*17sec production time = 170 seconds passed until 2 workers are on 1 miniral patch
(170+225)/60 = 7 minite mark before a 3e worker on a miniral patch even makes profit

who the fuck saturates his bases with 3 scvs/mineral patch? You clearly don't get how it works.

your logic is a bit flawed:

Consider the farthest mineral patch that mines at 39/second, the third worker on it (according to your math ............ which seems a tad high from what I remember)

17 + 50/24 * 60 = 142

Or if you prefer to count 12.5 resources for supply :

17 + 62.5/24 * 60 = 173.25

So still valuable ... workers pay for themselves in less than 3 minutes. Also it`s a small investment and your third will have 0 workers on it if you start producing workers for it once it completes

Regardless of all of that .... lowering the absolute cap of 3 per mineral to 2-per for close and just over 2 for far patches means expanding sooner is more desirable

yes, on a far away minrial patch, a 3e worker compensates the slowniss of the other 2 workers, and urnes itself in 173seconds thx to it!

but on a cloose mine, it takes even longer
my avg of 225sec bewfore a 3e worker have urned itself stay correct!
