Yes I understand that. But these are 20 minute games where my opponent has twice my APM and about half my effective macro. Where are these actions going? They cannot seriously be moving that much shit around without accomplishing nothing, so what the hell are they doing with these actions? Are they just pointlessly spamming control groups the entire game and missing all their macro?

well the best way to get faster and efficient at it is to just try to play faster so its not for lack of trying

apm is certainly overmistificated.

use sc2 gears for accurate charts

also, i know a kid who plays terran with 400 apm, and nothing happens. he's diamond... with 400 apm.

he just spends a lot of time tabbing through keybindings and tapping groups, but has shit tier mechanics
