i think its pretty evenly split between people who use camera hotkeys (press F1, box queen inject, F2 box queen inject), base camera spam (hotkey all queens, press the hotkey, spam backspace + inject + click) and people who just hotkey all their queens seperately and press their hotkey twice and inject

some people hotkey their hatcheries and press those hotkeys then box their queens and inject (i think sheth does this)

imo use camera hotkeys so your queens arent running around and so you can know that they'll always be next to the hatchery. also makes basic macro functions like transferring drones and putting drones in gas easier

thanks for clearing it up..camera hotkeys and box queen is what i do..before i would make the queens run around all the time lol

thats what pretty much all the pro koreans do as well

i used to use the backspace method exclusively and started using camera hotkeys with HotS

so i still hotkey all my queens to 4 by habit so i still use the backspace method from time to time like when im harrassing with mutas cuz i can inject in under a second

couse some zerk build other units then only zerklings
and some zerk nn 200food of units and another 200 food of larve before they engage battle

hatchery = 1larve per 15sec for 350miniral costs = 87.5miniral cost and 0APM for 1 larve spam per 1 min

so what do you get:
hatchery only = 87.5miniral cost for 1 larve spam per 1 min / automated larve spam / extra miniral line / tank building
queen+hatchery = 59.9miniral cost for 1 larve spam per 1 min if perfect inject-timing / 1.35APM per larve spam / urly anti air / creep spread instead of larve spam / -1%army size per queen when food maxed out

a worker collect +/-34minirals per 1 min
if you have 16workers on 1 hatchery, that hatchery gets a income of 544minirals per min = 136minirals collected whenever a larve spams
if you spent 35% of all minirals on buildings/resurch , then 136-35% = 88.4 minirals collected that can be spent per 1 larve
my avarge zerk unit cost more then 88.4minirals, unless zerkling!

1.35apm sounds low

but the 250+apm showed after the game is a fake number
i am talking of the posibility of a 250+AMP game when afk 1+hour
and the 1.35apm per larve, also needs great timing, so its not just a ezz action
and 3queens makes that a total of 1.35apm per larve*5.333larve per queen per min*3queens = 64AMP = 1action every second to upkeep 3queen injects


yes, i used to have 2+queens and inject shitloads
but after teoriecraft my larve-spam, i only build queens for creep spread, and sometimes as a secondary option it will inject a little, only 1/10 of the time
