It sounds like you are assuming that all harass should be able to be stopped by having quick reaction time. That makes no sense...

This is a game where you make things and you lose things, kinda how the game works man.

If someone invests 100/100 into a medivac, 200 minerals into the hellbats, the armory, the ad-ons, and the apm, then they should be able to have a reasonable dance of doing economic damage.

And no I am not a terran player.

e/ the only reason why you can't stop a drop is because you don't have units there. So.....put units there.

You sacrifice so much by being adequately prepared for a 1 base mine/hellbat drop and even if you are prepared with units, you still have to run your probes. Opening gas puts terran so far ahead right now.

I agree it definitely is a sacrifice to hold off, but the terran suffers too from executing such a poor economic build. Yeah you might have to run your probes, I am not disagreeing that the hellbat drops suck to fend off. I am just disagreeing with people asking for a nerf and claiming it's impossible to stop and not even trying.

I guess the "people with the absolute fastest reaction time can't stop it regularly" bothered me

How could anyone even utter such a stupid sentence? You don't know that it's true.

You can let some things play out and allow metagame to change the course of the game like the 11/11 2rax (wasn't a direct nerf to the 11/11, just people started utilizing queens more)
12minute roach max vs p
various 2base protoss all in (except immortal/sentry)


But things like original 4gate, mass ghosts vs zerg, infestor/broodlord never got played out until Blizzard nerfed it because it was just too fucking strong.
Thats exactly what the hellbat is right now

I don't feel like my hellbats worth anything against a good composition tbh. It's not something to be nerfed imo, especially because if you nerf it just an inch, it's plain useless waste of supply. Well changes can be made of course, we could go on with nerfing it's dps but getting it ridicoulusly tanky.

You think Hellbats shouldn't be nerfed because you play terran but to put it to perspective, hellbats are equivalent to zealots with splash damage.

I can only imagine how many people would drown in the tears of terran players if zealots did splash damage.

They already nerfed them twice

They upped cargo space and are adding a 110 second, 150/150 upgrade that requires armory

And i'm not a terran player.

To transform them from hellions. They can still be built from factory without that upgrade.
