Do you even know why corsairs were used?
Corsairs were used to act as a scout, like hallucinated phoenix in SC2 and the dweb over static defense for reaver drops.
Nobody fucking massed corsairs because they were "strong" its because of their stealth ability which were the role of phoenix in WOL and Oracle took over that spot completely in hots
