Just started playing, only have experience in WCII/SC:Broodwar so I feel the pain of being new. Watching SCII forever on casts has helped a bunch but somehow I always end up beating myself with bad choices mid game (at least I can handle most of the cheese easily now). Anyone wants to give some pointers PM me I play Zerg mainly and stuck at the top of my bronze league after my first couple days playing, keep getting matched with low gold/high silver players.

just because u played bw/wc2 casually doesnt mean ur ready for sc2

for ex i was c+ on iccup back when foreigners played/lvl 30 in wc3 use ladder but that didn't instantly translate success in sc2 and if i played bw now after a week i would be a much better bw/wc3 player than i had been b4

tl:dr you need to play lots of games
