again i defend my suggestion that they should prevent fungals from disabling warp prism and medivac mechanic, as well as reducing fungal/IT vs air abilities

these nerfs seem really over the top for zvp but does nothing in tvz

Detailed patchnotes on balance map revealed by rock (aka, Dustin, or in Chinese, Mr/Brother Bald) during an interview with the Chinese press at BWC Finals, Shanghai
http://games.sina.com.cn/j/z/sc2/2012-11-17/1942470071.shtml

According to Rock:
WOL balance map will see:
Mothership is now immune to infestor neural parasite - confirmed
Any psionic units(high Templar, ghost, queen, infestor) will be immune to neural parasite
Other changes possible

HoTs balance map will see:
Fungal will be projectile instead of instant cast - confirmed
Other changes possible

If they're happy about the changes, all changes that they're happy about regardless where they were being tested (WOL, or HOTS balance maps) will be patched.

*Theyre avoiding "direct" nerfs to fungal, but looking at indirect options. Other options being seriously considered are:
Carrier interceptors immune to fungal
Infestor movement speed decrease

Fucking love the mothership immunity.
Its not a drastic change as everyone thinks it is because zerg can just move their army back while corruptors target them down easy
Mothership dies more to corruptors than neural in all leagues, not the biggest change but not something that can completely allow zerg to shit on toss.
Don't like the psionic immunity, it'll allow ghosts to move in with cloak and allow them to be used but with a couple overseers and broodlings it won't change very much by the time ghost/templars get in range to use spells they'll already be surrounded by broodlings

Projectile is definitely a good change, hopefully its slower than EMP projectile
Definitely need the interceptors immunity

They tried before but zerg tears reversed the changes. I assume the same will happen with this.

Am I the only one who thinks that once we get to a point where sky compositions dominate the lategame, zerg will be the underdog? I mean, they have no shit air.

It'll be amazing to see corruptor/hydra/queen/infestor composition

Kinda like in broodwar with defiler/hydra/scourges

if its a projectile you'll still be able to double fungal ...... but it puts a little more responsibility on the defending player to avoid fungals.

For instance ... how many times have you see a small group of infestors unburrow and fungal as an engagement starts? having units split and advancing split just incase there is an infestor around the corner is a HUGE tax on APM ....

It'll be like storm blanket where you storm 4 times in a box to hit bio even if they try to split and dodge

even if that's the case, it's less effective than right now
