Destiny beat Incontrol 4-3 in their most recent showmatch.

They're both personalities, they get their viewers from people because they're entertaining, and not because they're good.

But Incontrol, brings in strategy/knowledge which Destiny lacks. I never said Destiny was not a personality/is better than Incontrol. But if you compare knowledge of SC. Incontrol is superior in every way. He can analyze the game/meta and help the team. Destiny is just a personality/good player.

incontrol has a history in esports. most of what they were talking about that show had nothing to do with actual games and tournaments, but with the development of esports and sc2. destiny doesn't have shit on that. destiny is looking at this whole thing in terms of numbers. djwheat's analogy of the television shows was perfect. incontrol, idra, djwheat - they all understand that it's not about the numbers, but about expanding sc2 and esports in general. whether or not there is much anyone besides blizzard can do about it - who knows.

I agree, or are you pulling a Hanmin? That is exactly what the show was about lol. Incontrol/Idra/wheat were looking a the big picture that e-Sports is growing. That SC 2 paved the way, yes SC 2 has declined. But to say it is dying/will be dead like Destiny is saying is outrageous. Especially when Wheat said he works at twitch and says the numbers are there but just spread out to many steamers/games. Who knows the solution. Is there even a problem? That is the question.

I sympathise 100% with Destiny on this one. This was a total pain to watch and listen to throuhgout the whole time. The persons are just acting so retardidly stupid. DjWheat, IdrA and iNcontroL are heavily offended because Destiny states something they don't like.
And for the Destiny ragequit/pussy out (call it whatever you want), I totally understand it. He's sitting argueing with three persons who disagree with him, while being completely disrespectful towards the opponent of the discussion. DjWheat was sitting LIVE ON HIS WEBCAM laughing at the deeply serious jokes of Destiny - How old is this guy again?
PainUser is a terrible e-sports figure too. He's just dickriding people left and right, never coming up with points himself. He basically just repeats whatever he finds the best, and then stick back and forth between different opinions.

They acted immature because they are afraid that Destiny is right. No reason to react like they did. Act your age, jeez.

That's one thing that pisses me off about DJwheat. Not all E-sports are equal and not all should be respected. LoL is the honey boo boo of E-sports and as far as I'm concerned can DIAF. I'm not going to go out of my way to try and talk down about LoL but I'll be damned if I'm going to go out of my way to help it. E-sports is happening regardless of Sc2, LoL or DotA, these games just currently have the most success but what is good for one is not nessecarily good for the rest and vice versa.

idra/incontrol thought he was exaggerating and making up numbers but they didn't disagree with his main point, they only said (over and over again and eventually summed up by idra which prompted the high-five) that blizzard sucks and isn't going to do anything anyway
