Entombedy valley is actually a pretty bad map, except for the thing that it's easy to get a 3. as protoss or terran, but the whole map is just

I like it.

I played a TvZ with a friend of mine, i really don't know what to improve on my tvz, i'm always just freestyling, but i think i'd need a few suggestions on opens
I'd like to get more agressive while utilizing mech
I know my "2 rax pressure" at start was kind of bad, but i killed quite a few drones and made him make workers so imo was worth it, gonna look it back though

if anyone would watch the replay and hit me with a few suggestions

Why would you open 2 rax if you want to go mech?
Will watch later and give feedback.

to do a really early pressure, and then come up with something unexpected, I'm mostly doing unorthodox shit, but it's kind of good if you play totally unpredictable.

If you want to do an early pressure and move to mech, I'd advise a marine hellion 1 base push. That extra rax is basically 150 minerals down the drain, which means you need to do even more damage to make the pressure worth it (since you're setting yourself back 150 minerals). Instead, you could attack with like 2 hellions + 4-6 marines (or however many you can make) and come out with more tech and the same potential to deal damage. If you time it out, you can actually being the factory production as soon as the rax finishes (there's a nifty timing where you can actually have 300 minerals and 100 gas exactly as the rax finishes, meaning you can go orbital + factory instantly).

not a bad idea
I wasn't thinking on doing marine hellion. I kinda thought of doing some early hellion stuff, but hellions earlygame in themselves ain't worth much, just a waste to do a runby mostly.

Hellions give map control, deny a fast 3rd, and force the Zerg to spend money on lings or roaches (aka not make drones). They actually do damage just by existing :)

I think the timing is gas first on 11, if you're curious. Used to be part of a hellion expand opener TvZ before the queen change (factory before expand).

yeah, but it's pretty fragile to open hellions, cuz if the zerg goes roaches it's kinda bad.

If he goes roach (which is the correct response to hellion openers) you hold the watchtowers and (depending on how early he gets roaches) you can either go up for thors and tanks (just transition into a regular mech style) or add banshees (if he goes for fast roaches and it's still early game, gives you a pseudo-hellion banshee opening for early pressure options). The more standard option (if you didn't plan on adding banshees) is to just go thors and tanks and add bases.

Honestly, when you mech you expect the Zerg to go for roaches. So if he gets roaches (and you just have 1 factory), you have the option of switching to a bio style (low bane count/late infestors bc gas investment on roaches) or sticking with mech and playing a standard game.

it's stupid to not to get banshees when you are meching^^, thanks for your opinion.
