ye, and the panel technology is completely different.

I think the $5000 sounds high but it would appear to be a pretty sick monitor. It has 8 trillion functions etc which seem like luxury extreme premiums.

when i said scale, i mean it has more prestige or pretending to be anyway. its probably because statistically its the best monitor on the market, or even if it isnt... its up to the manufacturer to make the price ofc. if you make something really expensive people WILL buy it because of the price tag alone. especially if you market it to a niche group like gamers. its a good way for smaller companies like them to make a profit

tvs are terrible for gaming.

Perhaps its not to prevalent on say RTs games like sc2, but for fps games...just no.

How is it not fact. Thats like saying a trackball mouse isnt better than a laser mouse.

The only difference is that you might be able to pick up a £20000 tv that is comparable. But you arent going to.

Albeit i might be a little behind in regards to how TV tech has come along in the last couple years, but i still highly doubt its equal.

FE CRT is still better than LCD. Go google this shit son.

CRT is just old tech and much worse for your eyes / uses more power etc. Its been phased out.
