1 - When you have an opinion of something that isn't subjective andyour opinion is wrong then there's no point trying to have a discussion.

o·pin·ion/əˈpinyən/
Noun:
A view or judgment formed about something, not necessarily based on fact or knowledge.

sub·jec·tive/səbˈjektiv/
Adjective:
Based on or influenced by personal feelings, tastes, or opinions.

how aren't mechanical difficulties subjective?

a bronze player couldn't fathom splitting marines to avoid baneling hits, yet a professional does it like it's nothing.

bronze player says it's difficult, professional says it's simple

we're not discussing which is better, we're discussing which is more difficult.

i don't want anything from my life spent on the internet coming into contact with my work; however slim the chance may be.

May I ask specifics of what exactly you're afraid of happening? Maybe afraid is a bad word, but can't think of any other way to put it.

ever since the facebook boom, lawyers for most major companies operating in california have added a clause to their hiring documents that states than any online activity that misrepresents yourself or the interests of the company are justified means for termination. as a contractor employed by said company, i am at all times a representation of their interests, and if they ever looked for a reason to terminate my contract, a simple search of my name could pull up my facebook, and if there's anything tying my name to jsp or something like that, they could ACTUALLY terminate me if i called someone a faggot, or a nigger, etc.

i'd really rather just not risk it, because i'm lucky to have my job at this time in my life, and i don't want to fuck with that :<

A reasonable excuse. I'll accept it. In my job (construction) its basically just JSP IRL. everyone abuses everyone else.

why do you have to look away to warp in? if you're engaging without a forward pylon, there's something wrong

also, it's not just marines, you need to rally marines/marauders, hellions/tanks/thors, vikings/medivacs, so terran has to rally/box units from 3 different production structures, with different move speeds, and different spawn rates

if anything, pressing 5rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr is the zerg macro style.

and BECAUSE all my units have two states (larva -> egg) it's much easier to preset control groups for my different units (5fff, ctrl+click eggs, keybind) and when engagements are active and i'm trying to macro, i can always fall back on my rallies and boxing to assist, terran doesn't have that luxury.

e: not only that, but zerg macro has access to sloppy macro mechanic luxuries (backspace injecting) that allow you to just cycle through and hit all your injects in half a second. granted, like i mentioned, it's sloppy, but it gets the job done.

1 - You almost never have a pylon on the screen of where a battle takes place, apparently there's something wrong with that? With your 1400 games / low masters based knowledge I guess you know your stuff.
2 - In your 1400 game and low masters based knowledge, when have you ever built marines, marauders, hellions, tanks, thors, vikings, and medivacs at the same time? TvP Terran really only builds marauder, ghost, marine(barracks) and viking/medivac(starport). You can literally do 4ggggddddaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaTABvvdd , all one hotkey. In TvZ you either are going to be building marine/tank/medivac ( 4aaaaaaaaaaaTABtttTABddd ), or mech and then it's even easier with just tank, hellion, thor all out of the factory, maybe some banshees or vikings at times.
3 - What does spawn rates and movement speed have to do with anything? You rally them and they come out, late game you have money that you put into queuing up your units, as I said you're going to primarily be always building the same handful of units , most of which are prioritized by how much gas you have. It doesn't really rely on what specific composition your making as you have mineral and gas dumps that basically dictate your composition anyways and the later you get you just have everything queued anyways.
4 - How can terran not rally to a fight and fix rallies? wtf? I don't even get what you're trying to say.

E'rythang has a different build timer. He's probably complaining about trying to hit tank production perfectly AND marine production perfectly AND viking/medivac production perfectly at the same time. Which I suppose is a legitimate concern, seeing as most of Protoss's building is from the warpgate, where everything's cd is the same, and Zerg it's all about larva injects rather than spawn time. In terms of seamless macro.

Not that I necessarily buy into what he's saying, of course, but I think that's what he's trying to say.
