This will be the problem, despite the fact that it is 3000 Forum Gold prize, people will still manage to come out no-show. From experience, it always happens and the only way to resolve it is to make an entrance fee where where it's not as cheap as it can go.

So it's pretty much a double-edged sword for you Schlag. Put an entrance fee and not many people will enter them, or make it free and everyone will enter, but a lot will no-show.

Can I get a bracket / day first round will start Schlag? And props for giving such an amount away for a free tournament.

No-show's aren't that big of a problem if you have enough people. It's to be expected, just give the players who face the no-shows a bye, or remake the bracket on the spot. Not a huge deal either way.

You're not understanding the problem. The problem is that even if there is no-show, there will still be no-shows later in the RO16/8/etc. It is a huge deal if you are giving away forum gold for free in return for the littlest entertainment you were expecting for.

If people no-show in round of 16, 8, 4, or finals they're giving up a chance at alot of fg. But whatever, the other guy just wins by default then

I'm guessing the tourny will take place on one day, split tournys for anything but first place are pretty pointless. And I guarantee the amount of no shows will be minimal compared to the amount of people showing up, if you have enough players, as we seem to having a few byes in the first round isn't a big deal anyway.

Hey Schlag just on this note if its live broadcasted please be sure to always check the player's individual replays after each game to make sure nobody is ghosting information to them, because sadly D2jsp does not have many trustworthy members. Finals / Semi's ofcourse.
