i disagree, zerg macro at high levels is mindless and purely second nature, you don't really think about it because all of our hatcheries are on demand and we can make whatever we want from that single hotkey.

and contrary to popular belief, splitting marines is quite simple, the hard part about terran is minding all your different production structures to maintain a high level of production

This, the difficutly of terran isn't micro It's that you have to do BOTH micro and macro simultaneously at the same time.

Nope, you don't, protoss and zerg macro is periodic.

i think what he meant was that zerg does all of their macro at once, then they can do their other dumb shit for the next 25 seconds. for the most part. protoss warps in all of their units at once, unless colossus. terran needs to macro constantly while everything else goes on. not saying terrans macro is harder, just clarifying what i think he's saying.

If you're not warping in, in battle, as Protoss and you lose the battle you lose the game for missing cycles.

99% of the time, all the time.

Didn't say other's job would be easy, but that's still peroidoc, you can throw down those forcefields, settle up the army for the engagement, go back for a sec, warp in, then go back to the battle and micro, your units don't die THAT easily as a terran's do.

I'm confused at this period shit that you think doesn't apply to terran.

When my warp cycles are down I have to be hitting the warp in's in battle.
When Terran's units pop out they have to requeue up units, the difference is that they can have units queued up so they don't have to. They also don't have to go back to their base, or anywhere else, to macro in battle. Protoss can't queue up units and have to go to a pylon to warp in units which is usually not in the battle.

Dgaf anymore. You guys' do not matter, you can bicker and rage all you want, but the decision is up to the blizzard reps. If you really cared, go post on the battle.net forums.

idk about that really, the fact that you warp stuff in instantly means you can technically wait till a terrans units pop and just warp yours in and be even in food, you'd have 2x his army though if you warp shit in the second your units died (given you have the same production, tosses production costs less so you should have even/more)

Generally actions = advantage, it's much easier to press 4aaaaaaaaaaaa and queue up a ton of marines than having to look away from a battle to warp in, the advantage is I get units in a battle.

The problem is that Terran's units are way more cost effective, if I lose my HT's/Archons/Colossus , warping in Zealots at that point is kind of useless.
