youre ability to use wikipedia is ASTOUNDING, and i read the same thing and the same entry said that activity like card games, board games are MIND SPORTS. But they are not physically demanding so its stupid putting the word "sport" into it, instead it should just be called game, e-games, mind games.

and a mind sport is still under the category of sport. if you classify starcraft as a mind sport, then it is subsumed by the category of sport. therefore, starcraft is a sport. now gtfo.

Yes starcraft is considerd as a sport according to the way sport is defined, but they put many different definitions into this word, enlgish language often does this (well internet as far as youre resources go),but if they leave out "An activity involving physical exertion and skill that is governed by a set of rules or customs and often undertaken competitively." then i will be right, and starcraft would NOT be a sport, i think sport should only be defined as a PHYSICAL activity. Lets see, is playing poker gonna get you physically fit? how about monopoly? and if starcraft is considered as a "sport" then why dont we play it when we took PE classes in school? I think the whole definition of the word sport should only focus on physical games. And YES i think them calling poker a sport is fuckin retarded.

They need to change the definition of sport, if starcraft is a "sport" then why don't we play it in the gym? Why are the people who usually play video games for a fuckin living are fat looser slobs huh HUH?
