i am not that narrowminded, you just can't read

i said builds

terran macro is a scripted build

and zerg doesn't have one then, just master a single mechanical thing, injecting and there it is
you just make drones until you see shit coming, make units accordingly
you see how stupid that is?

Yeah, good luck ONLY injecting all game. Zerg macro is just as "scripted" as terran macro, but it requires actual scouting and reacting whereas terran macro is more or less the exact same thing every game. I don't think he's saying terran is easier because of this, it's just easier to get GM with because you don't have to worry about scouting and reacting nearly as much, which are skills that are much more important for zerg players to develop than terran players.

Obviously if you play standard bio terran then every zerg is going to look like it's doing the same thing every game too, but what you're seeing is zerg reacting to the fact that YOU chose to go bio and not something else.

the thing is here, that i didn't, but the game chose it for me, as I don't really have any other viable options as mech is complete garbage and its ok if you scout it a bit later, you just need to greed against it like hell and ur fine
you can play zerg too with little scouting, i can do the same stupid 2 base muta build or w/e in every game, and have a 50%++ winratio if im doing it right, or just play a safe build with a bunch of queens and some detection, so you are kinda safe against stuff you can actually die to regardless of your abilities.
I need to see what you are doing as zerg if i'm playing against you with terran, not knowing what you are up to just doesn't work, I need to react to what you are doing. Ok, this is against all ins most of the time, but the same goes for all other races too, i need to know if you are being greedy or smthing.
Depends what level are we talking about though, if you want to get _really_ good, you need to be on top of all that with all 3 races, if we are talking about masters or NA gm (let's not lie to ourselves here) you can make it there without them as any of the 3 races

i play all 3 races around the same level, playing random most of the time, and im completely okay going autopilot a lot of times as zerg

Yes, all three races need to scout and react. The difference is, in hots anyway, zerg has to react much more drastically and more often. Ravagers kind of change this dynamic.

more often is okay to say, but it's still ridiculous to state what raine has said.

okay lets break it down for the slow folks

what takes longer

learning how the game works, the meta, and timings

or

copying a build order from start to finish

the first is zerg, the second is terran and protoss. (ps. protoss is the eaiser of the two to copy since the build orders are shorter)

pps. terran reactions = turreting your base earlier than the standard timing

once you KNOW the meta, the preferred playstyles of your opponents and the races in general.... all of a sudden everything in the game appears a lot easier than it did when you didn't know shit.

It makes perfect sense. Think about it. He says mechanically the races are played very similarly. Different, but mechanically require similar amounts of skill to perform perfectly. One race in particular requires more active scouting and reacting than the others. One race in particular is more prone to surprises and being caught off guard. It's perfectly logical that that one race would have to have more discipline and patience to make it to GM.

assuming the other two races dont require that is that what makes your statements ridiculous
also can be done for zerg to check what other people do therefore get updated on the meta and copy what others do (the extra thing is that zerg has buildorders and opens that can be copied and you can even copy other choices and techniques beyond build orders as zerg just as with the other two)
however the process isn't the same, but similar, but that doesn't make the race require more of the player, it's just different
