You do know that your "points" and "bonus pool" don't actually matter, right? Your league is all about Elo, which is a different metric. Well, Elo and some sort of confidence/stability metric. I could explain this using big words and math, but pretty much all of the posters here have already told you. You rank up when the game determines your skill level has sufficiently changed AND has been determined.
Eight games in a row is piss all. The game does not care how you win. It does not care about game length or your score or your APM or any numbers other than whether you win or lose, and the expected outcome of the game (determined, again, by the relative difference in Elos of the players involved). You WILL get promoted when you deserve it. The system is not broken, and no, you aren't the special snowflake exception. You are in the league you belong in, and if you aren't there yet play another 20 games and you will be. The Elo system has been used for DECADES and is incredibly solid.
