mmr decay is going into effect after not playing a game for 2 weeks. it stops decaying you after 4 weeks.
at least that is what some blizzard guy posted on the forums some time ago.

i've been placed masters again after not playing 1v1 for more than a month, so it can't be that bad.
on the other hand i was demoted from mastes into gold in teamgames after not playing a full season.

I know of GM getting demoted to plat..... MMR decay is real, however it seems like if you go and win like your first 15 games ull be back in master ez, because your MMR has reset and if you dont lose it will rise quickly without any losses to low leagues bring you down.

I played some 2s with Nevada and to be honest, to a player that only ever plays 1v1 (like me), 2s can be fucking tough, even at a relatively low level.
