Wow your talking Vanilla sc? That game is broken. If terran gets an Island zerg cant break it even if he mines out an entire map the size of Lost Temple... Also the word you have been desperately trying to conjure is "Sequel". Your Welcome.

Did a little bit of digging and it seems like BW should run fine on 8. It appears you have some settings to change in your video card driver.

Not a clue. As they are video card driver settings, I would imagine they would be unique to your video card (not your OS).

I got it working better, not perfect but better.

I know this isnt the place for it but I also have a problem with diablo 2 where it keeps telling me to run the video test.
