Hosting on older blizzard games was based on lan lines so it was always 0.0.0.0.0 for the ip BUT you have to allow your firewall settings past port 6112-6118 ALONG with your ROUTERS firewall ports 6112-6118

So computer firewall ports SC exemptions 6112-6118

Routers ports - 6112-6118

6112-6118 was for wc3, for sc1 i think it was only 6112

might be wrong tho, this was a long ass time ago

when i double checked on google, it still required 6112 on your computers firewall to be allowed so the HOST process server wouldnt be blocked

You could be right about 6112-6118 it may only be 6112 But doesnt hurt to allow those anyways

It's 6112-6119
Nathanfreeman walked me thru the whole thing. Big thanks to him, I played for hours yesterday lol.
Turns out I had a double router situation. Thanks everyone!

best way to play sc1 now for fun is with the program gameranger (gameranger.com)
u make a room with your friend and it automatically brings players in the same game.

And on that program there are still ppl playing this game so you can play like the old times sake ^^
