So does everyone that doesn't like sc2 is for the same reason as I do? The graphics are not as cool as sc 1, those were the best

the gfx in sc2 are actually quite amazing

i still enjoy the look of brood war tho to this day, as i still watch bw streams...

my computer sucks, so all I see is blurs of colors, sc1 looked pretty awesome on my computer.. lol

The thing that truly disappoints me about this game is the lack of viable strategic options. Terran is 95% of the time a wankfest of tier 1 units and Protoss is 95% of the time a purely all in race. Zerg is fun but the hive units suck dick so we're always making lair units. Theres not much diversity for a game that has a ton of potential and it gets really boring to grind the same tired builds over and over again.

Umm this game was dead when it came out, it just took people a few years to be illuminated.

i have been playing broodwar since 1999 and following starcraft-broodwar , starcraft II Wol and Hots and i have to tell you that i dont understand why you think the game is dead?
Broodwar gets revived right now, with sea,bisu, light in_dove returning to brood war, and huge amounts of professional sc II hots gamers. There is so much money in Sc II, it wont die since Blizzard is pumping Millions of Dollars in the game.
Btw. anyone up for broodwar bo3/bo5 for fg?

Still a great game, with an awesome competitive scene. Got to say It probably will never have as much hype as it used to because of all the other great competitive games out there. Just look at Twitch, sc2 used to be the #1 until LoL became a huge hit.
