lol, beside that fact. I mean, what do they do that their apm is so high?? Is it taping their production or clicking alot or moving units. Must be something like that.

Tapping goes in the epm count? might be that

they don't give a damn about apm mostly, they focus on how fast AND smooth they can manage stuff, instead of just focusing on increasing a meaningless number just to have something to brag about.

What should I do to imprpve my epm? I'm gettin stuck at 110epm. I was watching some sjow replays and even tho he has low apm, he reaches like 150 - 180 epm. I just don't know what he does dfferent that puts his epm so higher

creating quantities of low priced bad units, instead of lower amounths of bigger priced great units mostly results in more epm

do it smooth instead. Apm is meaningless spam, epm is stuff that actually matters, and does something useful.

what da hell you are talking about?

over 50% of epm = still useless spam

It's just a way to improve your gaming. Having higher epm will make you have time to do more actions for better micro, better multitask, macro, etc. If I know what they do I can try improving by trying to do the same. And higher lvl the player is, usually higher is his epm

asume you have zerglings and overlords, moving from left to right, every 0.5sec, to increase your EPM,
if you stop 1 click, to build a overlord, you decrease your EPM, and increase your macro.

if you build hydra's instead of zerglings, when fighting vs airtoss,
you decrease your EPM

thats all the teoriecraft there is needed about EPM!

Increasing stats won't improve your game, improving your game will increase stats. This is what I'm telling my friend who is pushing for gm; don't aim for gm, aim to improve your game each match. If you can't do something fast enough, repeat it as many times as you need to be able to be fast enough. Get your timings smooth, set your mouse to be smooth.
