he was still good before, thats when he got really popular aka fanboys n shit
just like people fan boy'd innov, or drg or mma or mvp.. just flavor of the months cuz of a new build came out that nobody knew wat to do/ they played really well for a certain period

its fucking obvious that roaches have nothing to do with either of the patches that spawned the "patch zerg" comments

but it's also obvious people thought roach maxes were bullshit and skill less (I thought they sucked, personally) so it still could be negative

in any case, roach maxes were not what made stephano who he became, not at all.

I remember the time I lost to mass lings of his back in WoL.

felt really bad, until I saw one game of Kas vs Stephano, where Kas started raging at Stephano about Zerg being OP because he lost to mass lings as well.




then one time after the ghost patch I was playing Stephano thinking I had the game as I was taking out his 4th and pushing the middle to his 3rd, and he comes in with broodlords instead of his typical fast ultralisk style. Fucking marauders are pretty bad against air apparently (this was after ghost nerf).

One of the best foreign zerg in WoL.

Only you are not a patch zerg if you created the ''imba'' strat.
Players like that will always find the powerful strats to do, no matter the patch.

Oh well, there goes the only foreigner who could compete with Koreans on a steady basis.
