1 rax FE isn't suicide imo, it's just any fe build with no gas relies too much on playing blind and if u don't have an e-bay for oracles = youre kinda dead (behind alot)

and if u do actually make the e-bay and get 2 turret and hes not even dt rushing or getting oracles and playing greedy = youre behind again

lose/lose situations to open no gas imo

scv scout isn't satisfying in most cases, you are playing blind without a reaper. Scans are expensive to sac so early on.

cc first followed by 14 rax and 15 rax, has 7 marines on the field at 5:30, which should be plenty for oracles? (wouldnt that mean no need for ***?)

as for blink allin, going double gas at 28 supply (skipping 3rd rax) into marauders immediately after getting 9 marines gives you 9 marines and 2 marauders comfortably before 7 minutes.

Well if u FE getting 1 scan isn't bad really but you have to either scan the natural to see if he expo'd or scan the main for his tech...you cant rly catch both if your scv dies.

And most of the time if you scan the main, you wont rly see his tech nor be 100% sure of what he does assuming he has just a robo... (could be immortal all in, a few obs, fast colo etc)

Especially if they proxy'd a stargate, u wont see it ^.^

7 marines is enough to defend oracle but u will lose alot of scvs just because oracles are so fast and you have to defend your main ++ your natural...its impossible unless u cc on high ground and stay in your main forever and be contained by oracles

you need turrets...and even with turrets you often lose couple scvs to oracles just because they can kill workers in gas outside range of turrets

this is what I'm saying, you are playing blind, instead of being able to gather all the information you can with a single reaper, for a much lower price than of a scan.

yeah, u'll have 7 marines, you won't know if it's even coming or not (if the protoss is clever enough to deny scv scouting, because with scans you won't see if its proxy or not) the oracle can kill 6 marines, you'll have around 4 marines when the second oracle gets chronoboosted out. You are just going to get raped against anyone decent.

well if you make the bunker at your nat like right next to your cc, having 1 marine inside of it while the 6 are in your main, you kinda are safe vs the first oracle as long as theres no additional enemy units

@ ghost 7 marines vs 1 oracle definately doesnt leave 1 marine...^

well you'll have two marines left, oracles rape light units pretty fast, and naked marines aren't too tough.
