While I understand what you're trying to say, the problem is scouting.
That is to say, making 12 marines if you DON'T need them will put you far behind. I mean, if you want to blindly assume your opponent is doing a Blink all-in, then yeah, I guess making a dozen marines with no evidence that you'll need them is a good idea. Against pretty much everything else, you'll be economically crippled if you prioritize marines over scvs and early eco.
Basically, if you make 12 marines, you're behind economically unless he AIs you.
If he AIs you, you won't have made 12 marines if you don't scout it.
By the time you scout it, it's too late.
So you have to play blind, effectively rock paper scissors random dice roll style, and if you get it right, you win. Congrats, matchup is broken.
