Thinking about getting this, however I never played Starcraft.
Was huge into Warcraft 3, and I was pretty good.
Few questions if someone would be so awesome to answer..
1. Would it be an easy transition? From WC3 - SC2? --->
its easy enough, I came from an xbox shooter and was always in the highest league possible whenever I could actually play.2. In WC3 you pretty much played vs a melting pot of people, and sometimes you would end up getting spanked because you got matched with someone who is like 400-30. Is there a ranking system that matches you with people your skill level? --->
the only good thing about this game is the ranking system, however its brought down by how complete shit of a game this actually is3. Hows the balance? --->
the balance probably needs work, but its not huge, its no where near as bad as it has been in the past4. How hard is the learning curve? WC3 it took me about a year to be good...
the quicker you realize you dont need to be good to win the majority of your games, even vs people with double your skill, the quicker youll advance5. How is the community? I know there's going to be the cocky people who think ( and probably can ) that they can smash everybody in a 1v1.. But are there generally people who don't mind helping you + constructive criticism? -
the community is generally pretty angry over various things6. Is the game worth it? ( general question ) -
this game is a complete piece of shit, I've been playing since the wings of liberty beta in summer 2010, and I have not enjoyed a single moment of it. If you enjoy losing to players doing things that anyone with a notepad and 10 minutes of spare time can do, then this is the game for you.Sorry for the Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, just don't want to regret the purchase
