medivac, the economical drain from terran economie
what amuze me, is that 80% of zerga allow this crap unit, to urn itself back, couse no anti-air is there, when 8 medivac are patrolling over creep.
it heals bio-units for 9life per second
100minirals+100gas*1.25miniral+2/8*100supply = 237.5miniral costs
basicly 9life healed per second, does 1 thing, it reduce opponent total dps output
its does another thing, it heal when kite, and it heals survival units, when battle already is won
i nn bonus when kite, i nn bonus when i won already
i need bonus in battle, and then,
1 medivac will undo the damage of 1.29 enemy marines50minrial per marine+1/8*100 * 1.29marines = 80.6 miniral costs for opponent to undo medivac heal
237.5/80.6-1*100% = 195% to match spended minarals, to get same advantge in a army vs army battle.
its nice to have heal vs IA/campain, but for multiplayer its overrated.
ok, so heal is not great, whats left? drop
whats the only reason to drop? to kite army!
now what does this terran like you to do?
it like you to make 3 bases before 7 min, so his bio-crap can slay light units all over the place, when kiting your economical advaned army
he loves it, that you try to get 1base more then him, at the cost of tec. so he out-tec you.

its not realy risky! i mean, that shit get killed, the chance for that is minimum.
its only risky, that terran is countering your shit, when also have economical advantage, if 1 of thouse 2 is missing, its no risk at all
(like, attack at 8.30, get countered bye 4-6tank, build muta after, but missle turrets are all over the place already, when terran have expansion already)
swarmhost vs terran is not more risky as vs zerg-toss at the 5-14min mark, its getting risky after that
yesterday i was playing one of my best games vs terran
i lost, thats why it was the best!
i was +/- like this
my swarmhost gets some hits, but a fortress+2tanks where taking control, i sniped the tanks, but not the fortress, and 2-3min after, 4-6tanks are up, he was on 2-bases
my muta was ready for construction at that point, i sniped 4 tanks+alot of workers, and some tec building, etc, verry good trade
not sure, but about 16min ingame, he had missle turret+marine protection vs muta, and tanks where stopping the locust of my 4-6swarmhosts
he even got alot of banshee
i manged to get about 5broodlord before he had made viking, and slayed his expansion, his tanks, his missle turrets, etc
now at this point, i should have won, but my macro/mirco was off a little, like corruptor production<viking production.
he was going expand at random places, floating terran buildings all over, i lost mapcotrol,
but finaly my broodlord where killed bye vikings, and my corruptors where to late to maintain air-dominance
it was like 25+min game, and he managed to overdamage my 4-6swarmhosts whit 15+hellbats
now it was a verry cloose game, and i surely beleave i not lost couse low on urly-droning
i think i lost, couse when i was fighting whit broodlord, i should have taken spore+swarmhost+corruptor control alot faster after it, but i was just foccusing on waiting for his gg, and on curroptor-only-economical-advatage, witch is not planned! (after i sniped all tank whit broodlord, i should have stopped micro broodlord+macro my coruptor production, and start mirco+macro my spores+swarmhost, to get tactical advantage above economical advantage)
