Your points are correct, I'm just adding a little to it. I think everything Bard said plus my comments explain why you will learn a lot just by playing the two campaigns.

I've almost finished the campaign, but it still doesn't show me any build orders I should use online.
Even when I found some build orders online, I still don't get it :lol:

About to play some matches against A.I. to get the hang of it for now.

The numbers are supply numbers--you build whatever it says at that supply. So when you get to 9/10, you build the pylon, 13/18 gateway etc.

Make sure to go through the actual link because there's cool scouting information to be had, and follow up stuff that's really useful.
