This will not work once you get into higher games, I still have a hard time not defaulting to voids. If someone scouts them and you continue with heavy air they will get obliterated. I like to open with a 2gate/robo, then expo and defend with sentries. Make sure to scout early for any cheese type rushes/all ins and then enjoy your invis scout once robo finishes. Terran bio usually gets man handled by 2 base with either collos or hts/storm. pvz is probably my hardest match up now due to constant harass, still trying to figure out an effective counter for muta/lings attacking multiple bases at once. PvP is just about knowing what they have and having more of it or countering it, they go with a hard blink stalker push make sure to have lots and collis with the range upgrade. Range upgrade destroys stalker armies.

if you start with protoss the first BO you should learn its the four gate, the most simple and effective 1 base all in, instant gold if u do it well

Build a nexus, get 4 gas and then build any unit you want, wait for 200 supply and push out

i liked to play protoss in WoL
i always had the biggest army of all in a 4vs4 game, and only build 1 gateway!



moved to zerg, since HotS, but that not means i not like to teoriecraft about the poornis of a gateway/warpgate!


stalker125min 50gas 42buildtime 2supply
Void ray Cost 250min 150gas 60buildtime 4supply

asume the action point happens atm 5 stalker have been build on 1gateway
(0.2*gateway150)+(125+50*1.25+2/8*100stalker)=30+212.5=242.5miniral cost per stalker
ad chronoboost, 242.5minirals spent per 42build time*0.666chrono = 8.7 minirals per second production per gateway

asume the action point happens atm 3 voids have been build on 1stargate
(0.33*stargate150+150*1.25)+(250+150*1.25+4/8*100void = 111.4+487,5=598.9miniral cost per void ray
ad chronoboost 60build time*0.666chrono = 15 minirals per second production per stargate

4vs4 And 3vs3 Protoss > 7min 3void Push

when i watch other 4-gate protoss play, it amuse me that production starts so late
when low tear units should be agrassive at the start.
4*chronoboost to spent 50min+50gas to make tear 1 unit spam ''sooner''
