Don't pick Terran

you need 300 APM to counter the "T" key

what is apm

you should go for zerg in that case.

as terran you follow build orders 24/7 . as protoss you simply play the easiest race in game

zerg is played in a way that adapts to enemy play, you have to be ahead in the mind of your enemy to mindfuck him with awesome strategies. it's the race for the people with a high iq

hmmm zerg does sound fun ^_^

or just make drones, then some dumb shit, then proceed to 1a, completely irrelevant to what your opponent has done
and you are in fact going to get masters with zerg this way, no offense markus.

i wish i knew what this means

i like to think that my brain works

and i want to actually have to try and win, not just win cause im playing someone op

All 3 races are fairly well balanced. Ignore all the people who are spouting shit.
Step 1: Play through the campaign and play against computers for awhile. Try out all 3 races and pick one that you like.
Step 2: Look up build orders. Google.
Step 3: Ladder some.
Step 4: Now that you have some actual game experience, go watch some of day9's stuff (can be found on youtube). The helpful stuff is mostly "Newbie Tuesday". Watch a few of these (pick through them to find episodes that you think will help you) and ladder more.
Step 5: Look up more build orders. Grind ladder like fuck. Watch some pro streams or GSL.
Step 6: Ladder.
