4gate warpin is a 1vs1 wol build i beleave!

i am loving 4vs4 games couse the scouting+countering is less important, witch allow a more diversity of builds/urly units.
and what amazes me is the overrated 4-gate-WOL builds in 4vs4, is the late unit spamming.
i have double army value then all other protos players, even most other players, at the 4-8min mark, when action starts, only 1gate and 1stargate,
ending up whit 4stalkers and 3void rays at the 7min mark, witch can add to a rush, or a solo void-ray harasment, or/and anti-rush
i resenty upgraded my starcraft to Hots, so i need a new build or a finetuned build for Hots, currenty testing urly swarmhost in 4vs4 a little!

i think 1vs1 is mostly about countering!
building up low tear all arround units like stalkers/marines at the beginning
then scout the enemy bigger tear units/structures
and then build bigger tear counter units to add to thouse marines/stalkers
zerk not have all arround low tear units, so he gets fast build-change options (1building allow all larve to becomes 1other type of unit)/ more urly agrassive units like zerklings+rouches

I was wondering about one thing. Ive read on the forums that when you are confused and you dont know which race to play, you should play random and check out the shit you like the most and adjust.
Ive had a friend who was bronze, advanced to silver and nowadays I see him platinum. I ask myself "What the fuck?!" that guy was so bad that I used to beat him in 1v1's with my mouse only, no keyboard and now he is platinum ?

I tried playing zerg and all I did was 6 pools wich got me into silver. I never got really into 1v1's because I felt its not for me but nowadays when I loose team games I get mad and Im blaming everyone else for being idiots so I said to myself I should play alone so the only one I can blame is me. But when Im into something I wanna be sure Im doing it right and not wasting time.



So again is it good idea to play random untill I settle up somehow ? When I try to play one race I cannot find a sweet spot. I mean all I can and did with zerg is six pool. I dont like long games. I dont like too complexed games. I wanna kill and get high not stick around in shitnoob league and wonder what the fuck is wrong...

No you don't, you want an easy way to win that doesn't require effort based on everything else you've said.



It sounds like you've played for long enough to have an idea of the races, but haven't done anything but cheese with them so you don't know jack shit about the game. Pick a race, learn to macro game with them, not cheese.
