You play toss, I have only played Zerg but assuming as you are GM you will still be able to help me.

How many hours do you recommend? I have only played for like 3 weeks maybe I should watch / read things before we do this?

Well we can go over general build orders and stuff like that, get you comfortable doing them. The most important thing though is going to be practice and mechanics.
