If you lose in masters it's because you make tons and tons of misstakes, pros playing your race have reached levels waaaaay beyond the skill of the high masters hence what's keeping you from winning is not balance, it's lack of skill.

Balance is when the best zerg in the world constantly finish behind 4 or 5 terrans or protosses.

The ignorance of people bitching about balance and how it does or does not apply at certain levels of play is overwhelming.
