it would make more sense being a disabling unit, yeah, but then zerg had no AoE whatsoever (except of banelings/ultras)

Just imagine how ZvT could have been in hots ... fungal for an 8s root and then baneling connects











.... instead of the skill-based play .. blizzard decided to go the cheap route

yeah well.. it's still skill based, just in another way

anyways I like the idea of this blinding cloud

I go roach and the blinding cloud kinda turns the game around

the terran is the zerg and vice versa (from WOL) -> Terran has melee units (zerglings) and Zerg has range units (roaches) , and you can see how easily the MM tank ball is getting raped. hahahaa

Not sure if you understood my post bro. It is fucking op RIGHT NOW if you use both. Zergs just somehow refuse to realize that fungal just had gotten better for it's original purpose.

i've been doing swarm/hydra and it's been working REALLY well. i'd like to try it on ladder if more terran would que up :(

i gas pool
drone to 25
make lings nonstop until first inject pops
attack with lings, because everyone goes 3cc you can deny nat for like a minute
meanwhile, take 4 gas and make pure drones and go 1 1 range
go hydra host
make infestor when host upgrade is done
keep 1 infestor per base that is dropable
make spores
use nydus to save swarmhosts because they're immobile as fuck

if i was to try and use both, i'd just lose half my infestors and vipers because i dont have enough hands for that shit

at least i haven't tried yet. I might...

didnt even know they increased range
until eyevuwd2 mentioned it in this thread ~.~

at least that explains why I have so many infestors left at the end of my games x)
