because he's won so many in a row, it jumped his mmr into low diamond, after he wins he'll likely continue being placed against diamond players until his promotion.

Yes, It is incredibly difficult to snipe someone if you are not a very high MMR (GM or close to it).

It's a lot easier than you think.
