how well are you microing your probes? are you sending out just 1, or 2? normally the big thing now is one to distract, the other to actually build. Build multiple pylons, cancel if need be, send multiple probes and keep pumping them out for income.
So for example let's say you build 2 behind mineral line, he's pulling workers to attack, 1 pylon is about to go down.. use your second probe to build a pylon on the side where he can't see, and then use your first probe to build a pylon behind the one that's about to go down and you're about to cancel. From there, when you can just start massing cannons. Canceling when the time is right is big though, cause if for instant he does happen to forc eyou to cancel all the cannons by mineral field, you still have the side, which si where you'll get away building mass cannons.
