There's a mac in my office, it has nothing to do with my PC/Laptop though. I got it because the router/modem in the office is WAY across the house and my signal isn't as good as it could be; so I bought the powerline thing cuz I'm too lazy to figure out if the house is hardwired and set it up. I guess I'll just call someone to come out and do it for me :(

Apparently in newer houses ( my house built 2008 ) the circuit breakers have some shit on them that can significantly reduce the performance of the powerline adapters. That could be it -o-

Yeah, powerline is a great concept, just not for gaming, it doesn't always work out well.

You're better off putting money on decent wireless setup or just having someone wire your shit if you can't do it well.
