Be sure to take it up with the people in the computer discussion forum. Those guys are uber nerds and will tell you what the best price/performance part is. The best thing to do is build the computer yourself because you will appreciate it that much more. You say you want stock now but if you ever start to take an interest in computers you may want to try overclocking to be cool.

I don't think you can fit an SSD in a 1000 dollar budget computer unless you get some parts really cheap. Also if there is someone else in your family that is into computers maybe they have a part that you could buy off of them. Just be sure to get the parts that your stomach tells you to buy otherwise you'll be regretting yourself. By building your own computer your parts will be GODLY compared to the shitty laptops people use today and 4x better than the crappy desktop computers they sell at best buy. If you wanna build it cheap for like 750 you could get AMD and Radeon but i would recommend Intel and Nvidia cuz it is doing that much better right now in the market.

Just stick to newegg and you will do fine they tell you everything the first time builder needs to know.
Just imagine how many more jsp tournaments you can win now with a computer that doesnt have to play sc2 on low graphics?!

Looking to get a laptop that I can stream on, when I stream on it I'll have it hooked up to another monitor but I'm just wondering what problems I would run into with streaming // what kind of quality I would get while streaming.

( looking at the GE70 0ND-213US as I assume that would be best for streaming )

Hold up dood! I thought you wanted a desktop computer not a laptop.

Don't get a laptop they blow price and performance wise so hard. I didn't have internet at my house for a while and i bought a desktop computer and dragged it around in a box to my friends house's. Thats how much i wanted it compared to a laptop. Unless you are EXTREMELY mobile, already have a PC, then you would get a laptop and it MUST be
an ASUS. Everything else blows in comparison by FAR. If you like shiny things and wanna be cool then maybe an Alienware.

EDIT: I guess that MSI one is decent but that runs at 2.4 verses something with the potential of 2x that,
