I need to focus more on my mechanics... obviously me queing up and playing isn't helping. I'm starting to realize I need to grind out games, but ! I need to watch what I do in each game and make sure my timings / decision making is good.

It does help. You probably have a head and a brain within, use it and figure stuff out on your own.
