if someone asks for a pause I just say "5 min tops" and after 5 min I unpause, I think that's more than reasonable to be honest

most people are actually polite until the game comes to a point where anyone feels behind, or ahead.
I usually wait for people if they ask for it, but i just auto unpause when the guy just pauses the game and says nothing.( it happens)

I might be a dick too, but I hate that too. I dont mind waiting, but at least ask.

95% of the people are nice enough to wait during pauses
I asked some guy for PP, unpaused and said it was mistake and told me to pause again did the same shit
Got mad and did a boss mode 2base all in, kid started crying and built extractors, hatcheries, overlord creep spines everywhere

I wait 10 seconds so they have left the computer then unpause

When they return I greet them with "classic case of snooze you loose you nooblord"


Or "sneaky cheap tactics... Consider this revenge from when you nuked Japan"

I dont start a game if i know i wil need a pause soon.

No problem with dat. But well i guess this happens pretty often. More in lower leagues imo

Sometimes the phone rings or you have to answer the door. Or your roommate's dumbass girlfriend lights something on fire in the kitchen.

tbh. i think its pretty cheeky to ask for 30min.
if he has to do something that important for 30min, even if its spontaneous he should take the loss.

but well, i guess u can always ask
