In the interest of not keeping this entirely a Zerg based thread.

TvP- Widow mines viable late game? (Drops etc.)
Mech - Builds, the versatile Battle Hellion and it's role as a mobile harassment / tanking unit.

PvP - The role of the Tempest and how it affects the mid/late game?

PvT - Mothership Core harass, dealing with early widowmine harass, Late game Tempest (possibly sky toss) switch?

widow mines and reaper tvt is nasty and really safe. the strat it'self can be fragile if he has 3 early maraulders and just "goes for it". this will buy him time insted of me buying time with widow reaper.
Overall I think my wlr is like 5-2 with widow mines and reaper. Still looking to expore this strat furtur since majority of my tvts has ended around 8-14 mins cause of the strength of this strat. Any good transitions with this maybe 6 widow mines 4 reaper offensive openening.

the counter to this build would be bunkers. 2-3 of them at key places. I place one natural. 1 at my ramp. 1 at my main mineral line. alot of early mins invested into bunkers are not so fun in tvt tho. But it holds off this playstyle.

I usually prefer the bunker idea because I prefer 1rax fe to a reaper expand, although reapers or fast fac are great strats too. I feel that the widowmine has completely changed the early game for terran for this reason.

40$ x 1million for 1 new unit that doesnt make it out of the mid-game. Bunch of geniuses


How about an activatable damage shield on vikings so I don't need 36 to kill corruptor/brood xD

Yeah, It's has become a fragile matchup, 1-2 good mine hits is all it takes to be able to end the game quick, even with quick 3. cc which I do. 1rax fact, make reaps make mines 3. cc down add raxes or armories depending on what transition.
Often unnecessary cause reaper mine can kill off many people with ease. Untill people figure out how to defend it, it will be a strong viable build.
