should i invest my time in bw or hots?

I cant play bw any more, window 7 aren't compatible with good old bw. so only hots

i have windows 7 and i run bw fine... only time i ever get color issues is when im in the main screen (single, multi, map editor, exit page). once im on bnet or in game, no problems.

hots is pretty cool imo

Odds are the RTS nostalgia you're feeling for brood war is going to be met better by HotS anyway, since most of the community moved on and there are people at all levels of play more readily available.

There are tons of great people willing to help out newcomers as well, just notsomuch on jsp
