Hello, as the topic states. When I open sc2+browser my computer goes super lag.

I have made a post here: http://us.battle.net/sc2/en/forum/topic/8197862097#1
Explaining the issue, but no reply yet.

Hopefully someone on jsp has experienced this and knows of a fix.
Here is the post:

Hello all, as of a day or two ago my game has become unplayable anytime a browser is open. At first I thought it was flash, so I tried toying with that a lot /searching the net. Every solution I tried lead to no results. This problem started as soon as my computer restarted (overnight) about two days ago. I tried to system restore to fix it, but it did not work.

As of right now, even if I just open a browser, my entire computer lags/chops up so I am having a very hard time understanding what is going on. I know for a fact it's not my comp specs as I have an i7 3770k 8gb ram /Radeon 6850 right now. I have recently defragged to try and fix it but it's not that.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as it is impossible to play currently.

Edit: I have just tested and, if I close SC2, everything is fine and not laggy. So the issue appears to be when there is a combination of sc2/browser open. It also doesn't matter if the browser is trying to do something (flash video) or just idle at a blank page.

Thank you <3

I use chrome primarily. But, if I use firefox or IE the same issues arise. It's the latest flash player. As mentioned above, the issue happens even if I'm not doing anything that uses flash in the browser though.

I tried again with Firefox, I am getting ok fps in client. Will try to play a game with Flash and update you.

Edit: Opened grooveshark. FPS = 6 and entire comp dies.

does sc2 run fine if no browser is open?

why did your computer restart a few days ago? was it after a windows update? are you getting the same lag with each browser? or does 1 browser lag significantly more than others?

It restarted overnight, I think from a windows update. I tried system restoring but it didnt help. Yes every browser is exactly the same. Both Sc2 and any browser run perfectly fine as long as the other program is not opened. Also, if I opened a browser, then sc2. Then close sc2. The browser/comp stays laggy until I close the browser and reopen it.

Reinstalled Flash several times. The issues happen even if I don't use grooveshark/flash. It's as long as a browser is open.

is the lag just in game? or does it lag when youre also in the lobby? it could be an internet problem with the browser taking up too much bandwith

The lag is the entire computer. Even in the chat screens. doesn't matter if I'm in a game or not. I could be at the login screen in sc2 and its lagging/freezing.

What else do you have open with Google Chrome? My computer has been acting weird with Facebook open (chrome too)
