The issue I have is tvt ... Having some dickface rush me with 2 or 3 scvs and just harass my barracks builder and then rush with 2 or 3 reapers ... What stops cheese

pull 2-3 of your SCVs and fend them off. Since his SCVs had to run further, he lost more mining time and you're still ahead. Against a reaper if you go gasless expand you just have to get marines out. Maybe a bunker near your mineral line if you're REALLY struggling against them (but you should not need this). If you open with gas, get a single marauder. You can kill infinity reapers with a marauder. Or get a hellion and roast them.

tl;dr: use SCVs to fend off SCVs. Then build units to kill his units.

Sometimes I bunker a ghost or two at the back. Good range makes quick work of dirty reapers. Only counter for 2-3 scvs is 2-3 scvs if you don't have a rine yet.
