I know nobody on this forum would care if I stopped posting and playing, but I'm just not feeling it lately... It always goes like this: I play sc2 for 2-3 month span, get much better at the game than I was previously, then lose interest. And I'm sad to say that the game that's taking the spotlight right now is... league of legends

I love this game. I think it's the best game I've ever played. I just don't have fun anymore... I never really play with anyone else - I just ladder. Maybe that's my problem. But the reason I've been playing league of legends is that it's just so damn easy! It's fun to rape ranked games with ashe and just kite them for days, or troll with my friends. Losing 5 games in a row and then finally winning that one 25 minute game on Entombed Valley is NICE, it's REWARDING, but it's not really FUN for me. I don't have the dedication to strive for high masters. Anyone have a problem similar to this? What did you do to get past it?

And sorry guys, you can go ahead and puke. I brought that league of legends shit in here.

Yeah, there's been many points in this game where I've hit a certain point on ladder and said "I just don't play enough to beat these guys and I don't really want to play that much".

But I usually come back to the game a month later and get farther on ladder then when I was before.

It just depends how important this game is too you. It's getting boring for me too imo.

Take a break. You'll come back with renewed vigor.

Happens to me every few months too. Usually when i get burnt on SC2, i go play HoN because it's easy and makes me laugh and brings back my enjoyment of playing vidya games. After a while i'll go back to SC2 and, much like a Saiyan, i'll be stronger and faster than i was before.

So i dunno, find a game that you enjoy and play it in between starcraft sessions.

I know this feel, and I play wow inbetween.

I play a game once or twice a week,
and i lose all of them, vs golds, plats, whatever.
Safe to say i don't play really fucking bad games like league of casuals

but

I'm still losing interest in my favorite game of all time for sure.

I know it's happening but I don't want it to.

I never overdo it
I know some people play for like hours straight and log in 20-30 games a sitting and of course its going to drain the fun of the game out
I play like 2 games a day on average, if I have some extra time or got cheesed then I'll log in like 5-6 games and leave it at that

complet different here, last season when i was rly active i made 100-60 and rank 2 masters. now after a few small breaks im soooo bad that i got only 40% stats

guess i just have to play alot to compete at a good lvl, breaks dont rly help
