It was a lot of fun sniping banelings, marines, and workers in one shot. Doing so was not overpowered, it was not imbalanced. However when one ability counters the entire zerg Hive tech tree, it needed to be fixed.

I'm not sure if it's obvious to blizzard, but Ultralisks and Broodlords are both massive units, all that needed to be done was to change the damage of snipe against massive units to 25. There was absolutely no reason to nerf snipe againts marines, banelings, zealots, mutalisks and workers.

Thus my first suggestion is to change snipe back to 45 damage, with 25 done to massive units and possibly still 50 damage to psionic.

Secondly, if you have been keeping up on recent Tvz you'll know that zerg has been making some extremely strong come backs with burrowed infestors engaging a sieged location. Note Game 2 of Ryung Vs Scarlett on Daybreak during IPL5. Ryung may have deserved losing almost his whole army when he was not watching it, but could he have even seen the infestors were he watching?

My second suggestion is that you make the visibility of infestors so that they are similar to any other cloaked unit. A relatively subtle nerf such as this would be preferable to hard-stat nerf to most zerg players, and it would reward any terran players who are responsible about keeping an eye over their army.

Tl;dr - Snipe damage to 45, (25 to massive). Make burrowed infestors as easy to see as any other cloaked unit.

its inarguable that infestors need to be nerfed.

so why not give terran this small edge instead of crippling the infestor with some kind of harder nerf?

Infestors rape toss as much as they rape terran
By leaving infestors as it is and buffing terran it does nothing for the bullshit that is known as current pvz

You can see burrowed infestors just like an observer or DT. The ground still shimmers when they move.

It's much harder to spot them, not because you can't see them moving because they are true silent killers. You can't always keep an eye on your army and see them. Dts start doing damage the moment they get close and sound the alarm. Observers are only getting picked off if they are being looked for but this is only a problem of bad terrans not keeping ravens around when in these situations you are getting really close to the late game. There fore you should prepare for that skyterran switch anyways.

i dont see anything wrong with the ghost change but it wont exactly help terran tvz

the infestor visibility is fine when its not moving but maybe making it a bit more visible while its moving

It would make ghost play more viable and open up some new TvP timings :)
