Dear hundreds of na/eu semi pros, pros:
You are not good enough. You are mediocre. You always have been. If you had success it was against weak competition. You were born to fail. You have no control over whether you can succeed, your genetics and environmental factors have already sealed your mediocrity.
Give up. It's a video game. The real reason you want to go pro is because you want to prolong adolescence. It's time to enter adulthood. We all have dreams. The difference is, the rest of us don't make the ignorant choice and spit in the face of everyone who has sacrificed so much for us... to play a video game.
You don't even enjoy the game that much anymore. I get it, you have invested so much. Everything would have been for nothing.
Guess what, it wasn't. You at least tried. There's always a point when you will realize, that really is good enough.
Anyone can fail. Letting go and moving on is the hard part.
You can have more than one dream, and Starcraft II probably wasn't even really it, it just happened to be there for you and you didn't know what you wanted to do with your life.
It's time to grow up.
Join the rest of us.
