Ive opened like.. 300-400 No legendaries rip

Anyone know chances of getting a legendary from firemane box inparticular?

Also is firemane the most "profitable"? I know none of them are profitable unless you get lucky but firemane is most likely to break even on right?

Spent about $300 plus VIP for 6 months. No kegendaries. You're better off using what AD you get to directly raise your IL through enchantments and stones.

You'll mostly never get anything from the lockboxes.
Its waste of money, just like the Bound system.

The monthly vip is most definitely a good buy. 10 keys can get you around 300k ad for average rewards and you get 30 keys for the price of 10

Ofc . I remember when the game first came out . I was buying 2250 zen for 350k 20key i sold all the boxes for around 7 to 800k a time . Its a shame i got me and all my frends armored griffs lol id have a lot more fg

Honestly, the chances wont really help you anyways. RNG is such a B**** that some people get lucky and some dont. I have been playing for about a year and have had VIP this whole time and also purchased a few keys (mostly with the 40% off coupon) and i guess i got lucky because i got an armored griffin, but i think in general people dont get that lucky.
I have read a lot of articles and statistics online and it seems almost everybody says the chance for a legendary is like 0.05% or something like that so 1 in around 2000. But that doesnt mean anything when you have to consider RNG. someone might get one in 5 and another it might take 5000.

Mostly asked out of curiosity, i know how rng and drop ratios work :P.. Like on rs 07 getting a draconic visage is 1:5k, got one in 625 kills, some people havent had one in 10k kills even though the average drop rate is 1:5k


The thing about it is that opening more boxes increases the odds of getting something desireable but every individual box you open has a 1:2k chance of being legendary no matter how many you open. all things considered that's not a bad drop rate. Previous opened boxes do not effect your odds of getting a legendary, each box opened is an individual instance

yes, and i have read alot about opening lockboxes and it seems the consensus is to open a lot at one time, instead of opening 1 a day (VIP). Which you can still use your VIP keys, just wait until you have 30+ i would say. I try to wait until i have around there sometimes a little longer and then open all at once.

On another note, i am not sure value wise which is the best lockbox. I would be interested in finding that out as well. I would assume over the long haul it would be Resourgence, since you have multiple good Epic/Legendary packs that sell for a good Ad amount. It seems most lockboxes have the Legendary part down but many Epics sell for cheap... Like the Giant lockbox at the moment, i got the Manticore companion the other day and was soooo excited i got an epic companion, then checked AH and the thing goes for like 50k AD on PC... So i would try and look at avg AD price on AH vs drop rate to figure out a general value. The Neverwinter Wiki has some drop rates listed.
