How in the fuck do you gear up new characters in mod6?

My main I was able to get by with pre-farmed currency to get the i135 pvp/campaign shit.

But holy shit, my new CW can't farm for shit. Stuck at 1600 item level, and the only thing to do is grind for 20 weeks to finish all the campaign boons and use AD for gear to bump up to ~1900.

I hadn't played since the mod before IWD (pretty sure mod 2)

I had a 60 cw that I benched and leveled my GWF in mod 6 - 2.2k ilvl now ( I did have access to some extra funds which helped, but I really haven't spent much other than refining my artifacts/artifact gear)

however - 1600-1800 ilvl is EASILY achievable with no effort. Go buy 115 ilvl crap off AH for sub 5k AD per piece. Put rank 5/6 in each socket.

Congrats, you can now queue for elol.

Also a stone helps...hopefully you were playing during radiance and were smart enough to get one ;p

Yes, the 1600 ilvl is easy. Like I said, my new alt that I leveled during the 2x XP week got there fine. Going from there is insane. And the dungeons aren't doable in that gear without a guild, dungeon queues are garbage.

1600 gs is not enough for any of the new t1 dungeons in dungeon queue, unless you want to queue a few dozen times and get lucky with a group.

Progressing to 2.6K gs like my main, is horrendously difficult without having pre-mod6 funds.

You can get 1800 easily with 115 gear from ah + rank 5/6 enchants.

2k isnt even "difficult"

drop yours greens, put enchants on. If you arent at least 1800 then i dont know what to tell you. Like I said i literally leveled and geared a fresh character and barely spent any AD (prob 2mil for enchants/refining TOPS - considering i got my gpf for 450k, belt for 215k and pants/shirt for 45k each - less than 5k for all my other pieces).

2.6 would be EASY to obtain if i actually felt like spending some AD - im using a green 105 ring and I could get socketed chest/pants, im missing 4th artifact and im still using 115 boots.

I have no guild, my friends arent 70 yet and have done everything through dungeon queue - yes at times it's painful, other times its fine. Although I am kicking myself for not buying horn artifact for 1.2m and necklace for 300k last week lol.

Sorry you had a main with a bank of seals and now it seems "hard"...must be nice.
