Just downloaded this game tonight, looks great but my brightness is stupid dark. I try to adjust my brightness in the menu but it does save so to speak. I hit apply and the slider says 125 but the game then returns to dark. It will give a preview of the brightness while moving the slider but then always resorts to dark.

Any idears?

Does the brightness scale revert back to the original setting after you exit the settings menu?

Not even that. The brightness defaults to 100% right after adjustment. Example: If I move the slider to say, 125 or 150%, it will show the change in brightness as I move the slider. Then in about one seconds, the brightness will go back to 100% setting but the slider will display 125 or what have you. No matter what I set it to, it keeps reverting to it's default brightness.

At least in game I don't have a problem viewing anything really. It's the menus that are hard to read.

Just to add an update to this. I run the program f.lux which reduces blue light emitted by monitors by changing the color profile. I was playing Neverwinter Nights tonight and ran into the same problem. I then realized I could run f.lux in safe mode which eliminated the problem.

So if anyone uses f.lux, run it in safe mode before playing games.
